7 Cool Tattoo Ideas

If you’re as obsessed with tattoos as I am, then you’ve come to the right place. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love the feeling of a needle full of ink piercing through my skin and leaving a permanent mark that reminds me of an idea I have about life. But how many are too many? With every new tattoo, I add to my body, I ask myself this question.

I don’t want my tattoos to hold any negative connotations, so I keep them small and mostly out of sight. That said, I plan to have MANY!

It all started when I was 17 years old. I was only a month away from turning 18, and the only person who knew about it was a friend.

You can imagine my parents’ reaction when they found out about it. The truth is that I was young when I got my first tattoo. And I know you might be wondering if I regret it. The answer is no! I love my tattoos and this first one opened a whole new world for me. A world where I could express myself through the art of my body.

However enough about me.

Before we get to the main point of this post, I want to share my top advice for tattoo newbies:

1. Think carefully before you commit to a tattoo. Do your research and make sure you are 100% sure that you want something permanent on your body. This is something that will stay with you forever, so you don’t want to make a mistake.

2. Find a reputable artist. Once you’ve decided that you definitely want a tattoo, take the time to find a reputable artist who can do the design justice. A good tattoo artist will be able to work with you to create a custom design that you’ll love for years to come.

3. Be prepared for the pain. Unfortunately, there is no way around the fact that getting a tattoo will hurt. But if you go into it knowing that it will hurt, it won’t be such a shock when it does. And once it’s all over, you’ll be glad you went through with it! At the same time keep in mind the fact that everybody feels pain differently so your experience won’t be the same as somebody else’s.

Now that we’re clear here are 7 ideas for your next tattoo:

1. Matching Tattoo.

A matching tattoo with a favourite person is a great way to show your bond. This could be any quote, text or a doodle, something that you both will agree on. Tattoos like this are meaningful and will note this special day when you and this person dared to do something out of the ordinary.

2. Palm Tree Tattoo

A tattoo on the back of your ankle can be a great way to show off your personality. A palm tree is a great tattoo you can add to the back of your ankle. The palm branch, which originated in the ancient Near East and Mediterranean regions, is a sign of victory, triumph, peace, and endless life.

3. Small Butterfly Tattoo

Butterfly tattoos are a very popular choice for women, and it’s easy to see why. They do not stand out as much, but the symbolism behind them is very powerful. Butterflies represent transformation, nature, and freedom – three things that many women hold dear. They also happen to be very versatile, looking beautiful in both colour and black ink. And because they are often small, they can be placed just about anywhere on the body.

4. Heart Tattoos

Heart tattoos have been around for a long time and are especially popular among women. That’s because they are elegant, and feminine and represent the strongest emotion – love. Heart tattoos can be associated with different types of love, from romance to family or even grief. A small heart tattoo is a great way to remind yourself of what matters most in life and show off your loving and compassionate side.

5. Quote Tattoos

Some people like to get quote tattoos on their forearms or wrist because it’s easy for other people to read in that position. However, you could also have important words inked on other parts of your body to make it easier for others to read or to make the message legible when reflected in a mirror. Whatever you choose – whether it be a line from your favourite movie, book, song, or words of wisdom – the impact will be felt no matter the size of your inking.

6. Paw Prints Tattoo

Whether you’re looking to immortalize your furry friend or just prefer their company to that of humans, try a simple pair of paw prints in a thin line. Often people get paw print tattoos, however, they’re not always from dogs. In general, the paws represent the respect and love for a pet or particular respect for some wild animal like deer, bear, wolf, or fox. Paws also express movement, particularly moving forward and advancing in some certain meaning.

7. Single Flower Tattoo

A single flower can be a lovely addition to your outfit, and if you position it along the side, it’ll be less likely to fall out. Flower tattoos can mean different things to different people, just like how the flowers themselves can have different meanings. For example, in ancient cultures, flowers were seen as a symbol of god’s contentment. Today, flowers are often seen as a symbol of love between two people. There are many different interpretations of flower tattoos, so it’s important to think about what the tattoo means to you before you get it.
