Q: What’s your name, and is there a story behind it? A: My name is Velena – yes, like Elena but with a V. There’s a heartwarming story behind my name. I was named after my grandma Elena, but my mom added a touch of uniqueness by incorporating the ‘V’ from my other grandma’s name. The big reveal happened in the hospital, and needless to say, it brought joy to both of my grandmas.
Q: Where are you from, and what do you love most about your hometown? A: I am from the charming seaside town of Burgas in Bulgaria. Growing up there was a dream – sandy beaches, lovely parks, and fantastic people. Despite being the third or fourth largest town, it has this special, welcoming vibe that makes it unique. It’s a popular tourist destination, and every visit feels like a warm hug from childhood.
Q: Share a fun fact or unique talent about yourself. A: Sports have been a huge part of my life. From swimming and gymnastics to tennis and handball, I’ve embraced it all. It instilled discipline and ambition, shaping who I am today. Oh, and did I mention marathons, volleyball, badminton, and table tennis? Yep, I was that kid!
Q: What inspired you to start your YouTube channel? A: Being a full-time content creator, I often get questions about my journey. I wanted to create a space where I could share my experiences and connect with you all. Think of it as a cozy, inspirational corner where you can escape reality for a bit.
Q: Describe your channel content in three words. A: Cozy, inspirational, and helpful. I want my videos to be a haven where you can forget the world for 10 or 20 minutes, feel inspired, and genuinely enjoy the content.
Q: Do you have any siblings? A: Absolutely! I have a younger brother. He’s sixteen. We share a fantastic bond, chatting almost every day, discussing movies, and just having a blast together.
Q: If you could travel the world, where would you go first? A: Australia has been calling my name for a long time now. The laid-back beach lifestyle and overall vibe seem irresistible. I’m thinking of a month-long holiday to soak in all the fun.
Q: What’s your favorite type of music? A: Rock music has a special place in my heart, thanks to my dad’s playlists. But truth be told, I enjoy all genres. Guns N Roses are my all-time favorite band, and attending one of their concerts is on my bucket list.
Q: Are you an early bird or a night owl? A: Surprisingly, I’ve transformed into an early bird. The 11:30 bedtime and 7:30 wake-up routine has become my jam, and I’m loving it.
