When you stay at the AC Hotel Malaga Palacio, a true institution in the city and now a member of the Marriott group, you are near by the best shops, tapas bars, museums, and the Malaga Cathedral, and La Malagueta beach. You should also hang out at the hotel, though. Enjoy the stunning sea and city views from the rooftop terrace, which is located on the 15th level and has a pool, tica bar, and restaurant. The rooms include comfy beds, luxurious bathrooms and moderate décor, and some offer couch beds for families.

The staff is extremely polite and goes an extra mile to help all guests with any requires.
With the arrival, we had a gentleman who opened the door for us and greeted us politely. The staff at the reception was very helpful and took a great care of us.
We absolutely enjoyed our room which had a great view of the busy side street and the nearby pier.
We spend most of our evenings at the rooftop bar and most of our mornings at the rooftop restaurant. With its stunning views on every side, the rooftop is truly the most impressive thing about AC Marriott Malaga Palacio.

The hotel has everything we needed. A lovely open swimming pool looking over the city, an in-house hairdresser, fully equipped gym and a downstairs working area suitable for business meetings.
There are a number of great restaurants and tapas bars within 5 minutes walk from the hotel but incase you don’t feel like going out in the busy city centre, you can always stay in and enjoy the delicious room service. They have some of the finest Iberian ham I’ve ever tried.

My advice, reserve a room with a balcony and a view of the sea, however if you do chose a room with a city centre view you may benefit from the occasional mariachi music on the streets.
