What you get
Exactly what is included, and what is not
An audit is worth having only if it tells you what to do first. This one ends in a prioritised list, not a hundred page export from a crawler that nobody reads twice.
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Scope | One WooCommerce store, up to 100 products or pages. |
| Checkout | Tested end to end as a real customer, including payment, shipping and email confirmations. |
| Speed | Core Web Vitals and load performance, on mobile and desktop, with the causes named. |
| Plugin stack | Every active plugin listed, with conflict risk, abandonment risk and duplication flagged. |
| Security | Posture review: versions, exposed endpoints, login hardening, backup status. |
| On-site SEO | Indexation, titles and descriptions, product schema, sitemap and Search Console health. |
| Conversion blockers | The things costing you orders that are not technical faults, named plainly. |
| Deliverable | A written report and a prioritised fix list, ordered by impact against effort. |
| Changes to your site | None. This is diagnosis. We do not touch anything without a separate agreement. |
| Implementation | Not included. We can quote it, or you can hand the list to your own developer. |
| Platform | WooCommerce on WordPress only. |
| Credit | The fee comes off your first quarter if you join the Care or Growth plan. |
Why it exists
Two very different people buy this
The audit is the front door to everything else here, and it works for two people whose situations look nothing alike.
- 01Something is wrong and nobody can say what
Sales dipped, the site feels slow, or a plugin update broke something last month. You need a diagnosis before you spend money on a fix, and you need it in writing rather than as an opinion on a call.
- 02You are thinking about moving platforms
Migrations vary enormously depending on product data, URL structures and what is plugged in. The audit tells us exactly what is involved, which is why we start here rather than quoting a migration blind.
- 03You want us to look after the store
No store joins a management plan without one. We are not taking responsibility for a plugin stack we have never examined, and you are not paying us to discover it slowly.
In all three cases the report is yours to keep and act on however you like, including by hiring somebody else.
Included
What the price covers
- A real checkout testWe go through your checkout as a customer would, on mobile and desktop, and tell you where it leaks. This is the single most valuable page on a store and the one most rarely tested properly.
- Performance with causes attachedNot a score. The specific things making it slow, in the order worth fixing them.
- The plugin stack, examinedWhat is installed, what is abandoned, what is duplicating something else, and what is most likely to break at the next update.
- Security postureVersions, login exposure, and whether your backups would actually restore.
- On-site SEO for a shopProduct schema, indexation and the ecommerce specific issues generic SEO audits miss.
- A prioritised fix listOrdered by impact against effort, so you know what to do first and what can wait.
The boundary
Diagnosis, deliberately
This product ends with a document. That is a feature rather than a limitation, and it is worth understanding why before you buy.
The findings
Everything we find, written down, in an order you can act on. It is yours whether or not you ever work with us again.
- Written report, plain English
- Prioritised by impact against effort
- Screenshots and specifics, not generalities
- Useful to any developer, not just us
The fixing
We make no changes to your store as part of this. Implementation is agreed separately, or you take the list elsewhere.
- No changes made to your site
- No plugin installs or edits
- Implementation quoted separately
- Fee credited if you join a care plan

Questions
Before you order
No. This is diagnosis only and we say so in writing before you grant any access. Nothing is installed, edited, deleted or updated. If you want the findings implemented, that is agreed separately, and you are equally free to hand the list to your own developer.
Read access covers most of it. For the plugin stack and security sections we ask for a temporary administrator account, which you delete the day the report lands. We will tell you exactly what we need before you create anything, and we never ask for your payment gateway or bank credentials.
No. Tools generate part of the performance and SEO data, as they should, but the checkout test, the plugin stack review and the conversion findings are done by hand. The value is not the data, it is the ordering: knowing which three things to fix first out of forty possible ones.
Yes, and it protects both of us. We would otherwise be taking responsibility for whatever is already in your store and being blamed for faults that predate us, while you would be paying us to discover them slowly. The fee comes off your first quarter, so joining a plan makes the audit effectively free.
Not as this product. We audit WooCommerce only. If you are considering moving to WooCommerce, get in touch through the contact page: migrations are scoped individually because product data, URL structures and integrations vary far too much to price blind.
We reply within one business day to arrange access, and the report follows shortly after that. The variable is how quickly access is granted rather than how long the work takes.
Then that is the finding, and it is worth knowing. We would rather write a short report saying your store is in good shape than manufacture problems to justify the fee. In practice that is rare on stores over a year old, but it does happen, and when it does we say so.
Yes. It is written in plain English with the reasoning shown, and every item says what it costs you in practice rather than only naming the fault. It is also specific enough that a developer can work straight from it, which is the harder of the two jobs.
Why it works
The audit in practice
Why the checkout gets tested by a human
Automated tools do not buy things. They will tell you a page is slow and miss entirely that your shipping calculator fails on a valid postcode, or that the confirmation email lands in spam, or that the mobile keyboard covers the card field. Those faults cost real orders every day and none of them show up in a crawl. Somebody has to go through and buy something.
Why the plugin stack matters more than most owners think
Most WooCommerce stores accumulate plugins the way a garage accumulates tools, and nobody removes anything in case it breaks something. The risk is not the number, it is the abandoned ones: a plugin last updated three years ago is a security exposure and a compatibility failure waiting for the next core release. Knowing which of yours are in that state is usually the most immediately actionable thing in the report.
What ordering the list is actually worth
Any competent audit can produce forty findings. The difficult and useful part is saying which three matter this month and which thirty-seven can wait a year, because a store owner with a job to do cannot act on forty. That ordering is the product, and it is why this report is short rather than long.
Not sure this is what you need? Describe what is happening and we will say plainly whether an audit will answer it.
