What you get

Exactly what is included, and what is not

Most care plans are a cron job with an invoice attached. This one has a cap on it because it involves two people actually looking, and that does not scale to hundreds of sites.

ItemDetail
UpdatesWordPress core, plugins and theme, applied on staging first and checked before they reach your live store.
Checkout testingYour checkout tested after every update run. A real transaction, not a page load.
BackupsDaily, held off-site, with restores tested rather than assumed.
Security monitoringFile integrity, login exposure, plugin vulnerability alerts and version hygiene.
Uptime monitoringContinuous, with alerts to us. You find out from us, not from a customer.
Small changes1 hour a month for the things too small to quote for. Unused time does not roll over.
Monthly reportWritten by a human. What was updated, what broke, what we watched, what needs a decision.
ResponseWithin one business day, business hours. There is no overnight line and we do not pretend there is.
Development workBeyond the included hour, quoted separately or covered by the Growth plan.
HostingNot included. You keep your own hosting account and we work within it.
OnboardingA Store Audit is required first, credited against your first quarter.
Cancellation2 months notice. Everything stays yours and nothing is held back.

The uncomfortable part

What happens at three in the morning

Every agency our size gets asked this and most give a comfortable answer. Here is the honest one, and then what we actually do about it.

  • 01We are not a night shift

Two people cannot staff twenty four hours, and any agency of this size telling you otherwise is selling something it cannot deliver. You get a human response within one business day, in business hours.

  • 02So we make the night matter less

Daily off-site backups with tested restores, continuous uptime alerting, and a documented rollback path. If something fails overnight, the recovery route already exists and does not depend on anyone being awake.

  • 03And we reduce the odds

Updates go to staging first and your checkout is tested afterwards, because the overwhelming majority of overnight store failures are caused by an update applied straight to production hours earlier.

If you genuinely need a twenty four hour response, you need a larger agency and we will say so rather than take the money.

Included

What the price covers

  • Updates that are tested, not just appliedEverything goes to a staging copy first. The point of a care plan is that updates stop being the thing that breaks your store, and applying them blind to production defeats the purpose entirely.
  • Your checkout, tested every timeAfter every update run, someone goes through and buys something. This is the single most valuable page you own and the one most likely to break silently.
  • Backups you could actually restoreDaily, off-site, and periodically restored to confirm they work. An untested backup is a belief, not a safeguard.
  • Monitoring that reaches a personUptime and security alerts come to us. You should hear about a problem from us rather than from a customer who could not pay.
  • 1 hour a month for small thingsSwap an image, change a price, fix a wonky bit of text. The jobs too small to raise a quote for and too annoying to leave.
  • A report a person wroteWritten monthly, in English, saying what happened and what needs your decision. Not an automated PDF of green ticks.

The two boundaries

What this plan is and is not

Two things decide whether a monthly fee stays honest, so they are stated in full rather than discovered in month three.

Required first

The audit

No store joins without one. We are not taking responsibility for a plugin stack we have never examined, and you should not pay us to discover it slowly.

  • £445, credited against your first quarter
  • Tells us exactly what we are taking on
  • Tells you the real state of your store
  • Yours to keep either way
Capped

10 stores

We publish the number because it is the difference between this and a plan costing a fifth as much. A cheaper plan is a script running updates. This is two people who know your store.

  • A hard cap, published
  • Ask early if you want a place
  • Not an unlimited support desk
  • Not a twenty four hour line

How it works

Audit, onboard, then a rhythm

  1. AuditThe Store Audit first, always. Fee credited against your first quarter.
  2. OnboardStaging set up, backups configured, monitoring connected, and anything urgent from the audit agreed before we take the store on.
  3. Monthly rhythmUpdates on staging, checkout tested, monitoring watched, your 1 hour of changes used however you like.
  4. ReportA written summary each month of what was done, what was watched, and anything that needs a decision from you.
Need development time as well as care? The Growth plan is everything here plus 3 hours of changes and development each month, performance work and a quarterly conversion review. If you are actively building on the store rather than keeping it steady, that is the one to look at.

Every price in this range is published. Nothing is quoted privately that is sold publicly to someone else.

Questions

Before you join

Why it works

Care in practice

Why updates are the whole problem

Almost every WooCommerce store that breaks does so within hours of an update. That is not an argument for avoiding updates, because unpatched stores get compromised, it is an argument for testing them somewhere that is not your shop. Applying them to a staging copy, checking the store still works and then pushing takes slightly longer and removes the single largest cause of unplanned downtime for a business like yours.

Why the checkout gets tested by hand

Monitoring tells you the site is up. It does not tell you that the shipping calculator started rejecting a valid postcode, or that the payment gateway update changed a setting, or that confirmation emails quietly stopped sending. Those faults leave the site perfectly available and stop it taking money, and the only reliable way to catch them is for a person to go through and buy something.

Why we publish the cap

Because it is the honest version of what you are buying. An agency managing four hundred sites with a team of six is running software, and it should cost what software costs. Two people managing a small number of stores is a different product at a different price, and the number is the proof rather than the marketing.

Not sure this is the right plan? Tell us about the store and we will say plainly which one fits, including when the answer is neither.

Updates tested, backups restored, checkout checked, by people

Every plan starts with an audit, and its fee comes off your first quarter.
