Destination Reels

Hire a travel content creator in the UK: what eight destination Reels are actually for

A destination Reel is a structure, not a montage. This page sets out the four part shape every Reel we film follows, what a one to two day shoot at your destination produces, and how long eight Reels lasts once you start posting them.

Destination Reels, one fee agreed before we travel

The destination provides return travel and accommodation for two, plus meals on shooting days. We work UK wide and take destinations across Europe and further afield, and the same team runs social media management once the library exists. Prices are in pounds sterling and no VAT is added. If you are ordering from outside the UK your card issuer sets the exchange rate, and anything due in your own country is outside our invoice.

The shape of a destination Reel

Four parts, in order, every time

Most destination video is a sequence of attractive shots with music over it. That reads as a holiday, not as a place you could go. Every Reel we film for a destination is built to the same four part shape, because the shape is what makes a viewer act rather than admire.

  • 01The open

Something that interrupts a scroll. An unexpected angle, a reveal, a person entering frame. If the opening is a wide establishing shot, most viewers have gone before the place is named.

  • 02The place

Anchor it. A recognisable landmark, a name on screen, enough context that a viewer knows where this is and could search it. A Reel that never names its destination markets travel in general.

  • 03The experience

What you would do, eat and feel there, filmed from the guest's point of view rather than the brochure's. This is the part that does the persuading, and it is the part most destination footage skips.

  • 04The close

One clear action, on screen and unambiguous. Visit, book, save. A closing frame worth screenshotting, because a saved Reel is worth more than a watched one.

Why eight rather than one long film. A destination has more than one story, and the entry tier is built to find eight of them rather than to polish one. Eight Reels means eight different reasons to go, which is what a feed needs. The longer form film sits at the tier above, where the trip is long enough to build a narrative rather than a set of them.

Posting planner

How long does 8 Reels of content actually last?

Set how often you post and where, and the planner works out how far one shoot carries you. It counts posts and weeks from your own inputs. There is no reach, booking or revenue figure here, because nobody can check one.

Reels posted per week2 a week

Counting only these Reels. Anything you film yourself extends the run.

Platforms you post to2 platforms

The same vertical file works on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Facebook without a re-edit, so posting wider does not shorten the run.

Reels held back for paid ads2 Reels

Ad creative gets tired faster than organic, so most destinations keep two or three back to rotate.

Organic run

The count

What this planner will not tell you. It will not estimate reach, bookings or return, because those depend on targeting, spend and the destination itself, and any number put against them here would be invented. What it does tell you is whether one shoot covers the window you are planning, which is the question the price actually turns on.

What arrives, and what the destination provides

What comes back

  • 8 vertical ReelsEach built to the four part shape, in all three aspect ratios, so one file works across every placement without a re-edit.
  • 20 social stillsFrames from the shoot, formatted for feed and Stories rather than for print. Not travel photography, and we say so plainly.
  • Paid media rightsOrganic use on your own channels plus paid media rights for 12 months from delivery.
  • Delivery in 10 working days from the end of the tripEverything together through a shared drive. Nothing arrives in instalments.

What you provide

  • return travel and accommodation for two, plus meals on shooting daysAgreed at booking rather than added afterwards. For UK and near Europe this is usually modest; longer haul is quoted before you commit.
  • Access and introductionsThe venues, operators and locations you want featured, and anyone we need to be expected by.
  • A shot list, or the brief to build oneTell us the audience and the angles you want pushed, and we will write it if you would rather not.
  • Notice of 21 daysEnough lead time to book travel sensibly rather than expensively.

Buyout sits at the tiers above

The entry tier is a licence rather than a transfer of ownership, which is part of what keeps it the entry tier.

  • Not resale or sub-licensing to a third party
  • Not a right to pass footage to another agency or platform
  • Full buyout is available on the two packages above this one

Before you book a destination shoot

Why the entry tier is a licence rather than a buyout

Ownership is the thing destinations ask about most, and the honest answer is that it sits at the tier above rather than here. A licence at this price buys a run of content you can post and advertise for a defined period. A transfer of ownership is a different commercial arrangement and it is priced as one.

The part worth knowing is what the licence actually stops you doing, because it is less than most people assume. Organic posting on your own channels never expires. Paid media runs for 12 months and renews. What you cannot do is sell the footage on or hand it to another organisation as theirs, which matters because the footage has one of us in it.

Where this sits in the travel range

Destination Reels is the entry tier of three. The Full Destination Feature adds days on location, a longer film and full buyout. The Brand Ambassador Trip adds amplification through our own channels as a named deliverable. All three, with what each includes, are on the travel content packages page.

If you are weighing this against a hotel package rather than a destination one, the hospitality hub covers that side, and the case studies show what the work looks like for a named client.
