Women led UGC
Female UGC creator UK: content made by a woman your buyer already trusts
If your customer is a woman, the person holding the camera changes what she believes. Six categories, filmed in house, each with its own ladder and its own entry figure. Velena is on camera in every one.

Why the creator matters here
What changes when a woman is the one holding the camera
This is not a claim about talent. It is a claim about who the viewer believes, and it only holds in categories where the buyer is a woman. In every other category it makes no difference at all, and we will say so.
- She has used the category, not just filmed itA skincare routine filmed by somebody who has a skincare routine reads differently in the first two seconds. The viewer cannot articulate why, and she does not need to.
- The reaction is the product demonstrationIn beauty, fashion and wellness the thing being sold is often how it feels rather than what it does. That has to be performed by somebody it is actually happening to.
- Fit, texture and scale need a real bodyA try on shows drape. A hand model shows scale. A routine shows how long it takes. None of that survives a studio setup with a hand double.
- The audience is already thereVelena's Instagram audience is 13,000 and it is female led, so the creator on camera is somebody a large part of your buyer's feed already resembles.
- It is not a substitute for a product people wantWomen led UGC makes a good product persuasive faster. It does not rescue a weak one, and any agency telling you otherwise is selling you the wrong thing.
- Where it does not apply, we route you elsewhereMale grooming, tools, B2B software and anything sold to men are better served by male led UGC. Gifting and occasion campaigns often want couple UGC.
Where it applies
Six categories where the creator being a woman does the work
Every one has its own portfolio and its own four tier ladder. The figure is that category's cheapest video, a 15 second Basic.
| Category | What women led adds | From | See the work |
|---|---|---|---|
| Beauty and Skincare | Application on real skin, and a routine somebody actually follows. | £140 | Beauty portfolio |
| Fashion and Clothing | Fit and drape on a body, which no flat lay or mannequin communicates. | £150 | Fashion portfolio |
| Jewellery and Accessories | Scale against a real hand, neck or wrist, which is the one thing a product shot cannot show. | £150 | Jewellery portfolio |
| Wellness and Fitness | Credibility. The creator has to look like somebody who would use it before the product gets a hearing. | £150 | Wellness portfolio |
| Food and Drink | The first bite, which is a reaction rather than a shot. | £160 | Food and drink portfolio |
| Lifestyle | A product inside a real day, which is where most women led buying decisions actually happen. | £130 | Lifestyle portfolio |
The other six categories are on the UGC portfolio: e-commerce, tech, apps and SaaS, unboxing, testimonials and paid ads creatives. Hotels and restaurants are shot on location and priced as campaigns rather than per video, on the hospitality range. Prices are in pounds sterling and no VAT is added. If you are ordering from outside the UK your card issuer sets the exchange rate, and anything due in your own country is outside our invoice.

Turnaround is 5 working days on Basic, 7 working days on Standard and 10 working days on Premium. Products post to High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. Organic use on your own channels plus paid media rights for 12 months from delivery. Basic is the exception and is deliberately cheaper for it: Organic only. No paid media rights at this tier.

Questions
Before you order
A UGC creator films content for you to publish on your own channels and in your own ads. An influencer publishes to their own audience and the post stays on their profile. The female led part matters only where the buyer is a woman, because the creator on camera is part of what she is deciding about. If you want the post published to somebody else's audience instead, that is the influencer packages page.
Not always, and it is worth deciding deliberately. Application, try on, reaction and routine formats need a person, because the reaction is the demonstration. Detail close ups, texture shots and product demos can be filmed hands only. If you want the whole video narrated with nobody on camera at all, that is a different product: voiceover UGC.
From Standard upwards. Organic use on your own channels plus paid media rights for 12 months from delivery. The platforms covered are Meta, meaning Facebook and Instagram, plus TikTok and Google including YouTube. Basic is organic only, which is a real saving when the video is going on your own grid and nowhere else, and an expensive one the moment somebody puts budget behind it.
Whitelisting means your ads run from a creator handle rather than from your brand account, so they carry a real person's name and following instead of a logo. It is a separate thing from the paid media licence and it is not included by default in every category, so check the tier on the packages page rather than assuming it. You want it when the ad should read as a recommendation from a person rather than as your brand talking about itself, which in women led categories is usually the whole point.
Then order from the nearest category on the full portfolio, because the tiers and the specification are identical across all twelve. The six listed here are the ones where the creator being a woman changes the result. In e-commerce, tech or unboxing it usually does not, and paying for it as though it did would be a waste.
Velena leads the filming and the edit on every women led video and is on camera in all six categories, so the brief and the shoot never pass between strangers. Nothing is generated. That is the thing a roster of freelancers cannot promise you, because a different person films each brief and the standard moves with them.
Top Rated on Upwork with 100 per cent Job Success, and 5 star rated on Fiverr. Both founders guest lecture at the University of Greenwich on social media and content strategy. Filming since 2022, 100+ brands, and an Instagram audience of 13,000. Our own press is Women's Health. Client coverage in Vogue, Conde Nast and TimeOut belongs to the client and is always labelled that way rather than borrowed.
Routinely. Post the product to High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom, brief by email, and the files come back over Google Drive, so nothing about the process changes. Prices are in pounds and your card issuer sets the exchange rate.
In practice
How to brief women led content well
Say who she is, not what the product does
The most useful line in a brief is a description of the person you are selling to: her age, what else is in her bathroom cabinet or her wardrobe, and what she is worried about. A creator can work out how to demonstrate a product. What she cannot invent is who the video is talking to, and a brief that only lists features produces a video that only lists features.
Decide the opening before you decide the length
Almost all of the difference between a video that performs and one that does not sits in the first two seconds. In women led categories the openings that work are usually a reaction, a problem stated out loud, or a result shown before it is explained. Order a tier with hook variations and you get the same body cut several ways, which is the only test that isolates the opening from everything else.
One category first, then widen
The instinct is to order across every category a product touches. It is the wrong first move. One video in the closest category, at the length you need, tells you whether the format suits your product for the price of the cheapest thing on this page. Three across three categories teaches you three unrelated things and costs five times as much to learn them.
Where women led is the wrong answer
Anything sold to men, and most tools, hardware and B2B software. Male led UGC covers the first. Gifting, occasion and travel campaigns often want two people rather than one, which is couple UGC. If nobody needs to be on camera at all, voiceover UGC is cheaper and often better. We will say which of the four applies before you pay for anything.
If your customer is a woman, the person on camera is part of the offer
Pick the category closest to your product and the entry figure is in the table above, or send us what you sell and we will name the category and the tier, including when the cheapest one is right.
