Four tiers, one creator
All four include filming, editing and delivery, and all four are made by the same person. The single video tiers let you choose length at checkout. Nothing here needs shipping, because software is accessed rather than posted. Every tier from Standard up carries the same 12 months licence, so what changes is the direction, the hooks, the raw footage and how far the licence reaches.

What is included at each level
Raw footage sits on Premium alone. That is the row people get wrong most often, and buying Standard expecting the source files is the most common mistake in this category.

The two rows that decide the tier
Raw footage and advertising rights
Almost every software enquiry comes down to these two. Both are answered here in full rather than as a cell in a table.
Raw footage
Original camera files and raw screen captures, unedited, delivered alongside the finished exports. It is the difference between one creative and the material to make several.
- Included on Premium
- Not on Basic
- Not on Standard
- Not on the bundle, and it cannot be added after delivery
Advertising rights
Basic is organic only. Standard and the bundle carry paid media for 12 months across four platforms. Premium carries the same term across all platforms and adds creator whitelisting.
- Meta, TikTok, Google and LinkedIn from Standard
- LinkedIn matters for B2B software and most licences omit it
- Creator whitelisting on Premium, so adverts run from a creator handle
- Never resale or sub licensing to another brand, on any tier
Who makes it
The people who plan the content are the people who film it
- Two founders, no account managerVelena directs, films and edits. Dragos handles strategy and planning. You deal with one of them from brief to hand off, and the same person is there at the end as at the start.
- Nothing is subcontractedNo freelancer network, no creator marketplace, no white labelling to another studio. The person who learns your product is the person who appears on camera.
- Named clients, not logosPicsart across an eleven month partnership, Snaptrip Group and LateRooms, No Escape London, Purgatory Bar and Silvi the Artist. One retainer has been running three years.
- We will tell you the cheaper answerIf Basic covers what you need, we say so rather than selling you Premium. That is easier to do when there is no salesperson on commission in the process.
Before you order
The terms, in plain English
The full terms and conditions govern every order. These six change what you should do next.
- We make content, we do not build softwareVelena Lifestyle is an advertising agency, SIC 73110. We do not develop, test, audit or certify any product, and nothing in our process is a security review, an accessibility audit or a compliance check. Section 2.1.
- A full refund until filming startsIf we decline your brief, or you change your mind before we begin, you get everything back with no deduction. Once filming has begun there is no refund. Section 7.
- What the licence never allowsNo resale or sub licensing to another brand, a marketplace or a reseller, on any tier, and no using the content to train an artificial intelligence model or generate a synthetic likeness. Those restrictions outlast the licence term. Section 11.
- Some categories we declineGambling, adult, cryptoasset and investment platforms, political, and anything requiring FCA authorisation are declined outright. Financial products, clinics and dating apps are case by case. Section 6.
- The claims are yoursWe script from what you tell us the product does. You are responsible for the accuracy of every claim, including performance figures, security statements and compliance certifications. Section 15.
- Access, not shippingSend a working login or demo environment rather than a parcel. Timelines run from the day we can log in, and an order with no access after 60 days is closed after a reminder.
Content formats
Six formats we make for software brands
Tell us the format in the brief, or describe the problem and we will pick. Every tier can produce any of these.
- Screen record and face to cameraThe defining format for software. A screen recording of the product doing something real, cut against face to camera commentary, so a viewer sees the tool working and hears why it matters.
- Tutorial and walkthroughStep by step through the features that get a new user to their first useful result. Works as onboarding content and as top of funnel proof that the product is not hard to learn.
- Results and testimonialCreator led, explaining a specific outcome. Before and after workflow comparisons are the strongest version of this for productivity and business tools.
- Feature spotlightOne feature per video. Built to run as a series so you can see which capabilities your audience actually responds to before committing a bigger budget.
- Paid ad creativeHook first, problem stated in the opening frame, product as the resolution, clear call to action. 2 hooks on Standard, 3 on Premium. For ongoing campaigns see our social media management plans.
- Comparison and switchYour product against the old way of doing it. A strong conversion format for software competing with spreadsheets, manual process or an incumbent tool.
The process
Order to delivery in four steps
- Choose and orderPick your tier and, on the single video packages, your length at checkout. No consultation needed before ordering.
- Send brief and accessGo to the contact page with your order number, a working login or demo environment, the features to highlight and your target audience. We confirm within one business day.
- We learn the productWe use it before we film it, so the walkthrough follows a real path rather than a click tour. On Standard and above the script comes back for your approval first.
- Receive and publishFiles arrive as MP4 through a shared Google Drive, in every format your tier includes, ready to post or run as paid.
There is no shipping step. Software is accessed, not posted, which is why these turnarounds are shorter than our physical product categories.

Bespoke
A launch, a full feature set, or an ongoing retainer?
Some software briefs do not fit a package. A launch with a fixed date, an entire feature set filmed in one session, localisation into several markets, or a monthly creative retainer feeding a paid account. When that is the shape of it we scope the work rather than pushing you into the nearest tier.
Quotes are prepared individually. Send us the shape of the problem and we come back with scope, timings and a fixed figure, usually within one business day.
- Product launches with a fixed date
- Whole feature sets in one session
- Monthly creative retainers for ad accounts
- Localisation into several markets
- Higher volume than three videos

FAQ
Apps and SaaS UGC, common questions
Screen record and face to camera is the strongest all rounder, because it shows the product working and explains why that matters in the same video. Feature spotlights work well as a series, and comparison videos convert hardest when you are replacing a spreadsheet or an incumbent tool.
Velena, on every order and at every tier. She learns the product, develops the concept, films it and edits it herself. There are no subcontractors and no creator marketplace behind this, and no account manager between you and the person doing the work.
Yes, where the brief requires it, on all four tiers. Basic covers one approach, either a screen recording or a face to camera piece. Briefs that need both cut together sit better on Standard or above.
On Premium only. Original camera files and raw screen captures, unedited, delivered with the finished exports. It cannot be added to a shoot after delivery, so decide before filming rather than after.
No, and this is worth reading carefully. The licence covers your own use. It never covers reselling or sub licensing the content to another brand, a marketplace or a reseller, on any tier, because the footage is of a real person and we cannot grant her performance to a third party through a product page. What Premium does include is creator whitelisting, which lets the advert run from Velena's handle with your ad account controlling the spend. If a partner needs their own rights, that is a separate conversation.
Yes, from Standard. The licence covers Meta, TikTok, Google and LinkedIn for 12 months. Most creator licences omit LinkedIn, which is a problem for B2B software specifically, so it is named here rather than assumed.
Your order number, a working login or demo environment, the features you want highlighted and who the audience is. Send it through the contact page and we confirm within one business day. Nothing is posted, because it is software.
5 working days on Basic, 7 working days on Standard, 10 working days on Premium and 10 to 14 working days on the bundle. Counted from the day we have working access rather than the day you order.
All three are thirty seconds by default. Upgrade any of them to forty five or sixty seconds on request and we quote the difference before filming, so you are never guessing at the cost.
No. We are an advertising agency. We use your product so we can film it honestly, but nothing we do is a security review, an accessibility audit, a performance test or a compliance check, and none of it should be relied on as one. Every claim in a video comes from you and the accuracy of it stays with you.
A full refund of everything you paid, with no deduction and no fee. We check every brief before work begins, which is why telling us at enquiry stage is better than after paying. Cryptoasset and investment platforms are the most common decline in this category, because promoting them is a regulated activity we are not authorised to carry out.
Yes. We film in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire and work with software brands worldwide. Because there is nothing to ship, location makes no difference to the turnaround at all.
Tell us the shape of the problem through the contact page and we come back with scope, timings and a fixed figure. Launches with a fixed date, whole feature sets in one session and monthly creative retainers are all scoped rather than squeezed into the nearest tier.
Why it works
Choosing between the four
The rights are the real difference, not the video
All four tiers deliver a video filmed by the same creator to the same standard. What changes is how many formats you get, whether you hold the source files, how much creative direction comes with it, and how far the licence reaches. Nobody sells a worse video at the bottom of a range, they sell a narrower licence, and it is more honest to say so.
Why LinkedIn being named matters
B2B software converts on LinkedIn and a large number of creator licences quietly exclude it, usually by listing Meta and TikTok and stopping. That leaves a brand either paying twice or running content it is not licensed for. It is in the licence here from Standard, in writing, which is the only place a licence means anything.
Where most software brands should start
If you have never used creator video, Basic on your three strongest features teaches you more than one expensive brand film. If you already run paid social, start at Standard, because organic rights on an asset destined for an ad account is money spent twice. Premium earns its price when somebody in house will keep cutting new creative from the source files, or when the media plan runs wider than Meta, TikTok, Google and LinkedIn.
See the finished work on the Apps and SaaS UGC portfolio, read the longer case in our guide to UGC for SaaS, or tell us about the product and we will name the tier that fits.
